Now-Aug 14..Presque Isle Lighthouse Youth Art Contest open to Kindergarten through 8th grade. Submit drawings and paintings of lighthouses to celebrate their history. The artwork must be a 2-dimensional work (no sculpture, ceramics, etc.), made by using pastels, pencils, crayons, paint, glitter, markers, etc. on a flat surface such as paper, canvas, poster board, etc. No photography or digitally created entries--must be hand-crafted artwork and entirely the work of the youth. June 12…M22 Challenge - a unique run-bike-paddle event held in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Run, bike, and paddle your way along this 22-mile course through the Leelanau Peninsula. Start with a 2.5-mile run that winds to (and up!) the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb, then grab your bike for a 17-mile lap around Big Glen Lake, and finish with a 2.5-mile paddle out in Little Glen Lake. TFN- The Northern Care Center is a medical clinic for those uninsured or underinsured. Patients  are seen on Tuesday afternoon/evenings. Located at 117 W State Street, Cheboygan. You need to wear a mask and when you come to the parking lot you need to call the clinic, first come first seen.
